Laurel Uhomba, Pharm.D., M.P.H., M.B.A., serves as the 2025-2026 American College of Clinical Pharmacy-American Society of Health-System Pharmacists-Virginia Commonwealth University Congressional Healthcare Policy Fellow. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy and Master of Public Health degrees from Samford University and completed her Master of Business Administration degree at the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School.
Before joining the program, Dr. Uhomba completed a PGY1/PGY2 Community-Based Pharmacy Administration and Leadership residency at Johns Hopkins Care at Home in Baltimore, Maryland. She has held leadership roles within the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists and the Student National Pharmaceutical Association, where she worked to expand access to postgraduate opportunities and champion practice advancement through national collaboration.
