Tracy Rupp

As a Congressional Healthcare Policy Fellow, Tracy Rupp obtained placement in the office of Sen. Robert P. Casey, Jr. (D-PA). In this capacity, she worked on health policy issues involving the FDA, NIH, Medicare, and Medicaid, providing research and analysis on various topics, including antibiotic resistance, opioid abuse, maternal and child health, drug and device regulation, and health information technology.

Since completing the healthcare policy fellowship, she served as a consumer safety officer in the Division of Compounding Policy and Outreach within the Office of Compounding Quality and Compliance at the FDA. In this role, Rupp works on compounding policy development and stakeholder communication. Early in her pharmacy career, she worked as a hospital pharmacist, specializing in nutrition support services.

Rupp holds both Doctor of Pharmacy and Master of Public Health degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She completed a PGY1 pharmacy residency at WakeMed Health and Hospitals in Raleigh, NC, and is a board certified pharmacotherapy specialist and registered dietitian.
