Nimit Jindal
2020-21 Fellow
Nimit Jindal earned his Pharm.D. from the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers and completed his PHY-1 Community-Based Pharmacy Residency at Moose Pharmacy through the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy. Jindal also served as the Piscataway Township Ward 4 Elected Committeeman, where he engaged with elected members of the local and state governments to develop policy solutions to infrastructure and educational funding concerns. This and other opportunities he’s had to learn about and influence policy changes fueled his decision to pursue this fellowship.
He was selected as the 2020-2021 ACCP/ASHP/VCU Congressional Healthcare Policy Fellow. He completed his congressional placement on the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) within the office of the ranking member Sen. Patty Murray.
After completing his healthcare policy fellowship, he served as a Health and Labor Legislative Assistant to Congressman Joseph Morelle (D-NY).
