Kyle Robb

2019-20 Fellow

Kyle Robb is a 2013 graduate of the Eshelman School of Pharmacy at the University of North Carolina and previously served as a pharmacist at the University of Virginia Health System in Charlottesville from 2013-19. During his tenure at UVA, Robb gained extensive experience in hospital pharmacy practice, transitions of care, population health, specialty pharmacy and health system administration. Robb became a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist in 2016.

He was selected as the 2019-20 ACCP/ASHP/VCU Congressional Healthcare Policy Fellow where he served on the staff of the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) within the office of the ranking member Sen. Patty Murray. His responsibilities included researching and writing briefs on a wide array of health care issues, assisting with policy analyses, drafting policy memos, meeting with constituents, selecting panelists for congressional hearings, and writing committee talking points and questions for panelists. His issue portfolio included surprise medical billing, opioids, drug pricing and health insurance exchange markets.

After completing his healthcare policy fellowship, he served as the State Policy Advocacy Associate at the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists.
